Moving into the 21st Century

So. We'll be getting my moped back on Saturday. No major damage done. In fact, the most expensive part of the whole thing will be the towing and getting me a new helmet.

Lion kept talking about how he was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Everything seemed too good with this accident and the budget and everything.

So it did.

Last night, as I was cooking dinner, my cell phone screen went blank. We tried everything we could think of to fix it, but it would not show an image. So we went to the T-Mobile store, where we were informed of the same information I'd found earlier online: my phone was dead. So, we upgraded! We're on a family plan now, which saves us upwards of $40 a month (once the phones are paid off--for now we're paying $8 more, which really isn't a big deal) and we've got Androids!! Oh, my, god. We were up until one and two a.m., respectively, downloading apps (something I've always wanted to do) and playing games or reading Cracked.com articles.

I feel like I've joined the 21st century at long last.

But, of course, now our budget is tighter than ever and we have to pray that we don't ever get doctor's bills for this accident. Otherwise...that eight bucks might prove tricky.
