Wow.
I'm sitting in the Lakewood Public Library in Lakewood, WA. It's just outside of Tacoma, the same way Olathe is right outside of Kansas City. I live in Tacoma, not Lakewood, so no worries. (To those who have an invested interest: Lakewood is the dangerous neighborhood, and we are, in fact, nowhere near Lakewood.)
It's very cold up here. The high for today is 76 and I've been wearing sweaters and sleeping under layers of blankets at night, as it actually got down to 37 one night on our travels up here.
As you can tell, I don't have the internet at home, so it'll be a while before I can get back to my regularly scheduled updates, but I want all of you to know I'm okay. I'm suffering from major homesickness and I'm lonely up here (why haven't you guys been texting me?) but otherwise, it's all okay. I have to leave here, soon, to go look for jobs, but I thought I'd stop in and tell you all I love you.
