what's a tv dealbreaker for you
I don't even know, because I'm pretty great at quitting shows. Usually that happens when I'm no longer invested, but really, there's never any one thing that turns me so completely off something I quit watching. It's like a steady buildup of bleh until I reach the point where I stop tuning in every week, and I don't even care. Like, Modern Family's done nothing to mortally offend my senses, yet I rarely watch it anymore. Probably there's no real dealbreaker, it's probably just laziness on my end.
one show that broke your heart (lol all of them???)
CARNIVALE ENDED PRETTY TERRIBLY, AM I RIGHT? Supernatural has the tendency to knife my feelings all up at least once an episode. AND LET'S NOT EVEN TALK ABOUT PARENTHOOD, OKAY.
what do you think real life people do instead of having an excessive amount of feelings about tv?
All of my family and most of my friends qualify as these weirdos you speak of. I guess they're all relatively happy in their lives? They, like, go out and do stuff in the real world during TV show times. There's not even a conflict when that happens, internal or otherwise. It's strange. I don't like it.
desert island books/music/movies
I'll go with movies, and say Hook. Hook is my favorite.
fave fic tropes
~FIRST TIME~! It's a pretty creepy trope to dig, I get that, but I am such a stickler for canon, and most of my 'ships are 'ships that I'm going to have to work some serious The Secret magic on to make happen, so when I'm reading fic, I want to know how the couple got together. There is a time and a place for established relationships, and it ain't in my ereader where I store all my fanfics, okay! Plus, now that I've gotten super into reading Dean/Castiel fics, I find that my taste is deteriorating so I like all sorts of terrible tropes, like: SEX POLLEN! ACCIDENTAL SOUL-MARRIAGE! CRACKY SPELLS! HAVIN' SEX WITH YOUR ANGEL BOYFRIEND IN THE MOTEL BED NEXT TO WHERE YOUR BROTHER'S TRYING TO SLEEP! Ahem.
least fave fic tropes
There's this weird trend right now with something regarding alpha/beta/omega dynamics that I don't get, at all, nope. Same goes with mpreg. Which I've never actually read, but: no. AU stories tend to be something I skip as well.

Anytime I rewatch, I'm always like, "hey, maybe it'll be okay this time!" but NO, IT'S ALWAYS THE WORST, IT IS A SCAR ON MY SOUL.

tbh i haven't gone back to modern family since they recast lily? i don't think i ever fully recovered from thinking the other baby was cuter even though she didn't talk as much as the new baby. IDK.
