my super quick thoughts on nikita. friends kept coming in and out so my grasp of the plot is not great?
i continue to find alex super uninteresting. they keep positioning her as the new agent in two possible love triangles, against BOTH of my OTPs. ugh. strangerbitch. thom and jaden got a bit of screentime in the beginning! yay! and thom helping out alex gives me such bad otp-shattering vibes. although jaden's wtf face was glorious.
i want maggie q's hair. she's so pretty. and the way they shoot her is just gorgeous. and her backstory is just so layered and gorgeous that i love it.
the thing with alex's backstory is that it's so clunky and mishandled. just the ending of this episode with the "everyone i love is dead!" line. i'd imagine that nikita's backstory isn't super bright and cheerful either. nor is jaden's. but they sort of have layers. and alex, they just try to make her so interesting and she just isn't to me. i think part of that is that lyndsy fonseca isn't the greatest actress at all so every time she's on screen i am just like go away. personal opinions.
so much otp time! michael and nikita! "we've got to stop meeting like this." OH MY GOD WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS. I LOVE THESE KIDS. and i love that michael and nerd's relationship is super bro-y. idk. why does michael care about alex? questions that i have. i mean, i get that he sees her like nikita but at the same time she is not as fierce as nikita. nikita is the hbic. everyone recognize.
