Sometimes God shows us things in the coolest of ways. I was typing a devotional the other day, and I misspelled the phraise "pain again" as "pain gain." I noticed it out of the corner of my eye, and when I went back to fix it, I realized how awesome of a revelation this was.
The devotional talked about issues with love, when you love you're vulnerable. Once you've lost, it's not necessarily the recovery time that's longer so much as the time to believe you can go through the pain again.
Once I mis-typed that, it read "it took me that long to believe I could go through the pain gain." Once I mis-read that, I realized that is exactly what's wrong with people anymore. They don't think they can go through this, or make it through this, when really it's all for your own benefit. God has allowed these things to come upon you so that you might grow strength, integrity, learn true trust, obedience, and to see awesome revelations of how perfect God's will truly is for your life. What we so often fail to see is that we're not going through pain again, we're going through pain gain.
What's even better is that God will give you peace through these times when You rest in Him. Not only is this pain highly beneficial and great for your (spiritual) heatlh, but you don't even have to carry it alone.
Praise God for pain, for pain again, for pain gain.
Thank You God for: typos ♥
