I'm on the laptop and having a smoke while the desktop computer attempts to send a nine-megabyte zipfile containing my latest completed editing project, just in time. Woo. What do I win? Oh, right: a fairly hefty check (eventually) and a set of melty, melty eyes. And a new project that is apparently some monstrous tome from whose gravitational force I will be unable to escape until mid-November, if I'm lucky. And if I'm double lucky, I won't be forced to generate an eighteen-page stylesheet that is mainly in Malayalam, like the one I'm sending off just now.
Also, there is ominous-sounding thunder right now. And I like it.
TO DO:
1. Drink a glass of wine.
2. Shower.
3. Sleep.
4. Wake up and futz around on the interwebs.
5. Go to my local and drink Guinness and talk treason.
6. Go to Chicago and celebrate my daughter's existence and my grandparents' marriage.
7. Edit the VVAW newspaper whilst swearing like J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman.
That's about as far ahead as I can plan.
