Hey hey! Officially returning from hiatus. I'm actually going to be tagging into all the action or try to! Haha. Also, there was little response to the manuscript page sign-up upon first posting, so I'm reposting it. There's not going to be a limit to sign-ups, really, I just want this as a reference so people know what the manuscript pages look and read like, and so there is a place for people to express interest in the pages.
Manuscript pages!
I will make a master post with manuscript pages from the game that people can find around the campus that have information relating to different sorts of Taken, Mister Scratch, Alan, Alan's wife Alice, and his best friend Barry. Then there are the pages that are action-based pages that revolve around not only Alan, but other characters in his story.
If someone would like a manuscript page written about their character(s), please comment letting me know if it is A) A reflective page about the character, be it present or past, or B) A action page about something the character would do during the plot.
Here's an example of the difference between action and reflective pages:
Action:
Page 11: Barry's Arrival
Barry Wheeler was bouncing off the walls. He'd jumped on a plane after his calls were ignored by both Al and Alice for several days. It could mean that they were both on a second honeymoon, but Barry didn't buy it. Al had been way too unstable for that -- not sleeping, messed up.
Barry had years of experience dealing with Alan Wake, and he couldn't ignore it; something was wrong.
Reflective:
Page 11: My Best Friend
I don't make friends easily -- I know plenty of people, but I don't let most of them close. I've known Barry Wheeler ever since we were little boys. We had the time of our lives. I'd get us in trouble, and he'd talk us out of it.
Things haven't changed that much now that we're grown-ups. He's the most loyal and dependable person I've ever met -- in all the things that count, anyway.
You could call him a weasel, and you wouldn't be entirely wrong; you could call him a clown, and I would reluctantly agree. But he has never let me down.
