Does anyone out there listen to the radio on the Internet? If so, got any recommendations for me? I'm not fussy about country - if anything, I'm particularly interested in non-British stations just for the joy of seeing (well, hearing) how other countries do things, report the news, hearing a different selection of music and so on. Though I might avoid any American stations for the next few days, I'm going to hear enough about the election as it is!
For my part, this post was prompted by my recent discovery of
Triple J after stumbling across them while looking at an Australian jobs website. I've only been listening for about an hour and a half but so far it's been a good mix of indie music with a lot of Australian bands spread throughout, and it's left me wishing there was a British equivalent. It's also fun because right now where the DJs are it's a) morning and b) summer, so it's like listening to a broadcast from OPPOSITES LAND where everything is new and exciting and the possibilities are endless.
Oh, and on a nerdy Farscape-related note: one of the DJs is called Zan, which is pronounced exactly how you'd expect. :D
