sobs this was just... oh god. i completely lack words to properly describe what i think about this fic; it's gorgeous and amazing and beautiful and every single thing about it - the characterization, the plot, the timeline, the phrasing - everything was flawlessly written. :') ♥ i adore this so, so much, you have no idea! the fact that instead of writing like a futuristic!future fic to fill the prompt, you chose a realistic, very plausible and possible (and as much as i'd rather not think about it, near) future. the setting that you elaborated on was absolutely beautiful *u*
but that's really only just the start of it - i can't even begin to tell you how much i loved the entire premise and concept of the fic. it's a fact that all the boys have to go to the army one day, and it's a lingering question for all fans if they'll return. the way you wrote this very fact is flawless, especially the transition between emotions because it's just as chaotic and lost and subtle as a normal boy's would be, as myungsoo's would be. there's a sense of not knowing if this separation is permanent, and there's also the somewhat bitter feeling of new members because myungsoo's lived with the original members for so long. but then there's the lovely acceptance of all these new boys and how much they've grown attached to their hyungs, and also the hope and friendship and love that lasts through all the years of physical separation. a-and the way you wrote it was so realistic; each emotion was palpable enough to hit home.
