New summer layout! (with a tribute to the best video game characters of all time)
So international F.P.S. competition went really well, my team got fifth in the world! We had the smallest hope that we might get into the top ten (because the top ten get awards, and the top 5 get trophies). The whole competition part only seemed like a little part of the weekend though. The best part for me was probably the variety show. I hooked up with these other two girls from Iowa, and two guys from Idaho and we did this sing a dance thing to that one “You don’t impress me much” song. It was so much fun! It started out with just cassie dancing and Hannah singing, and then I came in with some break dancing behind her. We were performing for about 1000 people and they loved it!
After the variety show was over we all took the bus to the dance. I did some dance battles, which were so stereotypical it was almost funny. They played a lot of country at the dance, but in Kentucky their country is different then ours. They have more bluegrass in theirs, and we have more rock in ours (I like ours better)
Overall, It was an awesome week.
