overview
mmm-mmmm, 2004 was a good year. Lets look back on some things that happened this year.
*Drivers license! I didn't get it til around august which is about 4 months after when i turned 16 which i kind of regret now (because its going to be longer til i can get my full license)
*Concussion! back in the beginning of the summer i got that big concussion in tae kwon do which kind of ended my tae kwon do career (I had an agreement with my parents that if i didn't get hurt i could keep competing Olympically)
*Cy-tag! I'll admit it wasn't as good as 2003's cytag (cuz it didn't have the same kick-butt people) but it was still a good time, shout outs to zach, shrikar, gabe, jack, karthic, james, david, jon, kiri and jessi!)
*FPS internationals! Yep getting 5th in the world was one of the greatest achievements so far in life, my team is so awesome and i hope we do even better this year. Shout outs to betsy, jordan, zach, hannah and cassie!
*Hidden acres! Even though working there for two weeks was just a small part of the year, it was one of the best times. I love that camp so much, i think its about as close to heaven on earth as you can get
*IMS! yep this is my first year going to an actual high school and not being home schooled. I'm loving it! I ran cross country this fall, and loved it. Its a completely different world.
*New house! after living in west branch for the past 16 years of my life we finally moved... To joetown Iowa, population 68. I'm surrounded by Amish people, get stuck behind buggies frequently on the back roads. But its peaceful, comfortable, secure, and sometimes drives me crazy. I really like my new house though so it makes it ok.
That’s mostly it I think! it was a good year all in all, good luck to everyone in the new year!
