One thing I've found out about songwriting, if your not famous make your lyrics easy to understand. There is beauty in making them more complex, but the thing is that no one will ever take the time to try to understand them if your not famous. You'll just be mumbling to yourself. Instead, focus on simpler themes, but with more complex structure and rhyming. (then people will say things like, "you've got real tallent son! your going places!")
On a rather different note. School is not hard enough, I need to pick up another hobby. Everybody i know is talking about how stressed out they are, but I never really have enough to fill all my time. I guess I need to get a job (because money is always a good gift during the Christmas season) The thing is that I don't want to get a hy-vee job, or a wallmart job, I'd like to work somewhere like best buy or khols (where i can get a discount on things I like to buy) I could go play piano for von maur (spelling?) or some store like that, but I bet I wouldn't get paid very much. There are so many choices for jobs, but so few jobs I actually find interesting.
