RUNDOWN OF STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES: Terrible at long term planning. Thinks on feet well. Able to caculate the trajectory of his fall from hundreds of feet up, dehyrdrate self, rehydrate in right location due to trajectory planning, catch special gun, save day, and get the girl before she gets lasered to death by the bad guy.
Fucking BRILLIANT with turning junk into amazing things that he shouldn't, from old cars from the 50's becoming invisible speed machines to masses of self-replicating plasma domed brainbots to the DE-Gun.
Takes a beating but keeps getting up. Never, ever gives up. Adept in a variety of combat techniques, but mostly used while suited up or otherwise augmented. Prefers distances attacks to upclose brawls unless in a battle suit or exoskeleton. Has been getting beat up by a Superman equivalent for years, and yet to give up or die.
Socially inept, tends to mangle words, poor communicator if there are no explosions or laser shows involved. Crippling shyness leads to grossly overcompensating with dramatics and theatrical effects. Never really wanted to hurt people as a villain, just get somebody to pay attention to him, or like him -- or anything, really.
Has lived in prison most of life, this will actually not be fantastically new, but it will be quite an unhappy place to return to since it's not HIS PRISON.
ANY OTHER IMPORTANT INFO: No superpowers, just incredibly smart... in very specific ways.

Prompt Chosen: Solitary
Back home in the Metro City Prison for the Criminal Gifted, Megamind's keepers had kept him in solitary -- a very advanced little bubble of a room, with pictures of Happy Animal Friends on the walls, with a single TV in the wall -- so he was used to long periods without any human stimulation or contact. It just seemed natural to be back here, after all those months free to do as he would.
There was no television this time around, but Megamind had never really needed one. It was simply something to do; here, he has to rely on his own mind. That wasn't hard, either. He could pull up snippets of favorite moments, memories and conversations while he sat in the dark as the days ticked by; it wasn't hard to keep track of them. Meals were regular, and the light marked the passing of the days. Others might have gotten lost, felt despair -- for Megamind, this back and forth simply created a sense of vague boredom and eventually a Zen acceptance of his solitude.
He touched the walls; in patterns -- recreating old plans in his mind; going over the designs for the Metro Man Super Suit, tracing equations on the wall until he was sure he could catch them at the right light, the oils of his hands so thick as to be seen at just the right hour, when the light hit it just so. It was a simple mnemonic trick; he'd used everything from markers to jelly donuts to edit his plans before -- this was no different. He did it day in and day out, sleeping when he felt like it, repeating his plans when he didn't.
When they came to get him out, they were shocked, then angry that he was neither haggard nor weary by his experience. Merely a bit bored, and ready to come out into the sunlight again.... to eventually annoy some other prisoner into trying to shove a homemade shank between his ribs and wonder why it was so damn ineffectual to take on the former master of all villainy with a piece of simple, sharpened pipe.
This place wouldn't break him. He just had to bide his time... bide his time and remind himself of what was waiting on the outside. A city that needed him, a woman who might love him, and a place in the world -- after all that time.
It was just a matter of time.
He could handle time.
