A good weekend

I experienced a very busy weekend:

Friday night: sewed curtains, sewed a new uber-pouch (it's schnazy), was in bed by midnight

Saturday: was up at 5:30 to get dressed and spiffed up for a medieval event, drove to Kris Kinder, ran a guild meeting, organized the preprint-painting table, ate at Tastey Thai (had a good red curry), hung out with my Laurel and her family, was home by 1:45 a.m.

Sunday: Slept in until 10, ironed a bunch of linen, hung out at Thomas and Marie's sewing party, got fitted for a 12th century bliaut, cut out bliaut, cleaned my house, chatted with several friends, and I was in bed by 11:30 after reading up on grammar.

Today, I've gotten organized on ordering primers for inverse PCR, along with developing my attack strategy.  I needed to pick restriction enzymes that didn't cut too closely to my sequence of interest.  It was a big job, but I am finished.  The iPCR fun will begin on Wednesday.

Mick said he would look at my paper this week.  *fingers crossed*   He said the same thing last week.   I think I must become more pesky.

My cats are the cutest kittehs in the universe.  On Friday, KiKi dive-bombed some lining fabric on the floor.   I think he was attempting to pounce on some imagined creature under the fabric, but because the fabric is slippery, he ended up coasting a few feet across the fabric, slip-and-slide style.

I have really, really nice friends.
