sigh....
so yesterday was one of the hardest days to work because it was raining hardcore and EVERYONE wanted to be in the indoor pool...needless to say, with two lifeguards and 68 people sitting there for 3 1/2 hours without a break because our other two guards had to go for orientation at some other job they have for that time, i almost had a heart attack....BUT!
just when things were REALLY starting to deteriorate, Chris comes in with his protein shake, sits down on the soaking wet floor right next to my guard chair, and starts cheering me up, yelling at kids to stop running, going over to them to help me out, enforcing all the pool rules to anyone he sees disobeying them and just making MY job SOOOOOO much easier! GAWD, i would have died yesterday had it not been for him.....he wasn't even scheduled in to work that day!! he had a day off, came to work out and see me and just spent two full hours spending time with me and making me feel a HELL of a lot more sane! good man i tell ya.
so yeah, to get to the point, i am FOREVER grateful to him! i am gonna miss him, event hough he IS a playa and this little fling isn't relatively serious....
