this weekend!
YAY going to London this weekend!!!! FINALLY i can get out of Hville and see some of the crazy wackos in the music faculty!
taking the train from Hville to Ldot on Friday afternoon and getting there around 7:11pm (to be precise!), going over to 1101 Sunset for some good ol' partaying for Jill's bday and then sleeping over at my lovely apartment w/ Larkie...Saturday i'm hopefully going to see Marcie and Andy and Andrea and a bunch of other music ppl cause we're all going out to T.J.'s for Larkie's bday partay and then partying it up at our place hopefully. so good times ahead!
i'm also cracking down on the practicing... i'm finally getting around to doing some technical stuff that should have been taken care of a LOOONG time ago. i'm going to re-memorize all the + and - scales, all their arpeggios, dom. and dim. 7ths, as well, i have these 2 really great study books that have studies in every single key in one book and technical and expressive studies in the other one. so i'm going to learn all those and then, and ONLY THEN will i continue to learn my new rep for next year....this is gonna be a LOT of work, but hopefully i can follow through with it. it'll REALLY help me in the long run and make me a better musician so i can actually play the technical passages in my pieces without messing up royally. i've already started today and played nothing but technical studies out of those 2 books for 2 1/2 hrs. slightly tedious...anyways, i'm out....wish me luck!
