Good weekend gone down, down down.....
Man, this was such a good weekend until yesterday evening!
First... Hubby gets a ticket - the first in 20 years - for not making a full stop at the corner at a stop sign.
Then... While getting ready for dinner last night, (we went to a FANTASTIC Brazilian restaurant), the cops stopped over. Apparently the wanted 71*, and our address is 71#. 71* is next door.
A bit later, Lily's going absolutely crazy! I peeked out the window, figuring our neighbor was out (Lily loves to bark at him, and he's an Ohio State fan - bad doggie), and there he was handcuffed being loaded into the police cruiser. He's an older gentleman about 60 and single and always very quiet. My curiousity's peaked....
Finally, when leaving dinner last night, I wasn't sure if I could cross the center berm, which was slightly raised, doing a left hand turn. Instead of turning right, and then doing a U-Turn (which are mostly legal here), I backed the car up... WITHOUT LOOKING.
SLAM! Right into my brother's SUV.
Thank God it was only him, and there's no damage to his car, just some paint rubbed off. But my bumper is totalled.
So now I have to take tomorrow off to get that taken care of.
And now we're supposed to have 10-24" of snow by Wed morning?! Yikes!
Can we start this week over?
