(no subject)
Kelly & I went to the mall. I needed some new jeans. I only have two now, since I ripped my flared ones on something at work.
And I wanted flared ones, so I new I'd have to go to the hated mall.
But I found a pair at Sears. I like them, but the ones I really, really liked the most (and which cost $20 less), were faded at my thighs and made them look REAL big. So those wouldn't work. But I also got a cute long-sleeve onsie with little pants, that said "Daddy's Sweetheart"
Oh, I didn't mention...... IT'S A GIRL! My brother & his young wife are having a girl: Tessa Nicole. I like the Tessa, but Nicole is a little over used in our family. And my niece is due in the next few weeks with a boy: Kenin Scott.
After that, I came home and made two batches of spaghetti sauce. I used a new recipe from online, rather than the one I've always used from my Betty Crocker book. The one from online was: much better!
And then after a lovely meal of T-bone steaks, salad, and french bread.... I made home made shakes. One with strawberries, melon & vanilla ice cream; and the other with seedless red grapes, white peaches, & vanilla ice cream.
Between doing loads of laundry & watching the marathon of 'America, the History of Us'. Again.
