I find it interesting how in spite of your verbose discriptions I wouldn't go so far as to say you are making things more complex. You're just over doing it a bit...a man of extremes. Yeh, that fits you like your favorite pair of jeans. Stop and consider the stuff that has inspired you. The old woman at the bar...that was a beautiful situation...and a very simple one. You just over did it on the description. Do the Ezra pound thing and distill. Hit the high points. Tell us want you want us to get out of the story. Don't make us dig.

As for the certainty of X...again not complex at all. What is more simple than a man's desire to comunicate with his son?

And the untitled thing. You've told me about that. The production of it would be a little challenging, but the idea serves to simplify the understanding of what it is like to live in that guy's shoes.

Please understand I am not trying to belittle, but you're not terribly or overly complex. You're just extremely sensitive, insightful and a bit of a drama king...which are a few of the many reasons that I am pleased to call you a friend. Lay off the booze, for no other reason than it distorts your percetions.
