Havent said much in awhile, sorry, been kinda lost in workslation...ew, starting the post off with a bad pun is never a good idea.
so this musical im writing, I want to use a bands album for the music, from start to finish every song in order. do you think that is even feasible? for those of you who don't them, the band is Muse, the album is Absolution...right now, a lot of musicals are being made from bands (mamma mia - abba, we are the champion - queen, good vibrations - beach boys, movin out - paul simon, and one from johnny cash and one from elivs) so this would be a good time being as it the broadway trend. But i think if the script is good enough a not so well known band would love to be immortalized like that, dont you?
script is coming along slowly, haha, the lead right now is going to be a frustrated childrens author who cannot come up with his new book. which sooo does not match up with muses music, which is why i like it. i like misdirection, especially in theater. in fact, until halfway through the audience will only know he is an author and probably assume that he writes like ginsberg or someone. he listenes to a book on tape throughout the show on "How to Write the Great American Novel". haha, that makes ol shaner chuckle.
other than that my life is like my apartment at the moment. dirty, in shambles, and no sign of cleaning coming soon. (disclaimer - i am anal, so when i say dirty, its not REALLY dirty, only slightly out of order...talking about apartment, not life)
