Small Bright Orange Pleasure Machine
I have made an addition to my stable:
It's a Royal Alloy Grand Tourer - the model, as all of you will of course know, ridden by Lashana Lynch and Daniel Craig in No Time to Die:
At 125cc, it tops out around 60mph, making it less useful for long journeys (though I did take it to the Lake District within a week of picking it up), but terrific for commuting and bimbling around.
Since buying it in June, I have done very little beside ride it, think about riding it, and take photos of it next to things:
Having it is rather like owning an adorable puppy of unusual breed: total strangers keep coming over to admire it and ask questions. I get a lot of smiles and waves on the road, as well as nods and thumbs-ups from other motorcyclists (usually as they overtake me at speed).
This is a scooter that makes people happy. Especially me.
