apparently there is a fennec fox-sized hole in my heart. imagine a tiny (2-4lbs) creature with the sofftest of plush fur, the largest of darling ears and the bushiest of adorable tails. how imagine that it is super-friendly (" They may bother other pets in the household, if only because fennec foxes will want to play with them all the time.") even to strangers and that they make a cat-like purring sound when happy. you have to feed them dog food mixed with fresh vegetables and fruit and supplement their diet with mealworms and crickets because they are lovely little omnivores.
