My life has gone to the dogs. I now care for 27 dogs, 4 horses, 2 goats and 2 cats. Each day starts with feeding everyone and letting them run before my breakfast is even thought about. Each dog has a story, some are of abuse, abandonment, lost of family, puppymill dogs who have never felt a kind touch of a human and some are just lost. However, each give me a inner peace or a challenge depending on the situation of his or hers past. Siberians are an unusual breed that can outwit most humans in a minute. They have taught me to listen to my intuition and to seek out the raw instincts that lay hibernating in all of us. This is something I try to think about daily. My life no longer consist of needing humans to fulfill my loneliness or needs. I give so many hugs a day and receive lots of big wet tongue kisses in return. Three of my person Siberians sleep with me, actually they hog the bed and I am amazed each morning that I slept in this weird position. I guess what I am saying is my life has really gone to the dogs, where I am learning from them so much more that I give.
