Decisions, Decisions
A friend of mine has charged me with being an insane fool who fears decisions.
To counter this, I -decided- to post a few important -and unimportant- decisions I've made recently.
- I have decided that I am a writer and a musician.
- I have decided that I will major in writing and forgo music education.
- I have decided that I support Barack Obama's presidency.
- I have decided to think and evaluate all the aspects of a situation before I come to a decision, and to be open to new information and reevaluation of said situation when more is introduced.
- I have decided that I will not go to bed angry.
- I have decided that I want to father a child.
- I have decided that I will live in an apartment with my boyfriend next year.
- I have decided not to buy soda and drink water whenever I can.
- I have decided to read all the furry novels I bought before I move on to Asimov and Bradbury.
- I have decided to procrastinate on my presentation for Tuesday.
- I have decided that Logic class isn't a class for which I need to study.
- I have decided not to let my friend's remarks scar my friendly feelings toward them.
- I have decided to play through Earthbound before moving on to Mother 3.
- I have decided to take my medicine on a regular, daily basis, and in doing so to regulate my mood and sleep pattern.
- I have decided that I am a leftist.
- I have decided that there is a God, and that He loves me.
- I have decided to rewrite my story Jade from the bottom up and try to get it published.
- I have decided to go to church with a friend of mine instead of going to my college church group study on Sunday.
- I have decided that I am a furry.
- I have decided that an intelligent existence is better than a blissful, ignorant existence.
To name just a few.
You should never go to bed or operate heavy machinery when you're angry. It's bad for your health. So, with this done, I have decided to forgive my friend and work toward patching things up if he is willing to do so.
