A post of progress :o
This is my progress on my little Christmas project for FA... This time, instead of doing a traditional Christmas song, I decided to do a theme more indicative of winter than the holidays themselves. So, I chose the Winters theme from Earthbound! Why? Well, why not? It's a lovely song, and it feels like winter to me.
It's been quite a challenge getting where it's gotten in about three days of work's time.
Original Song - I'm only doing the first two parts. The other part is from a different, yet related, part of the game.
The scratchwork - Bleh! :p
The progress - I'm quite pleased, though in the conversion to aiff, some of the modulation in the middle of the song was lost...
All I really need to do now is compute the boarding school's theme, add some "real instrument" guitar, and put the two together :D
Though, goodness knows, I'll freak out towards the end with balance controls >.>
Though this process, I've become a bit more appreciative of the skilled artisan of computerized music. It's hard stuff when you're not sloppy about it.
