Update on Carole!
Hi all! KnitChick1979 posting on Carole's behalf. :)
Carole asked me to put up a post here for her letting everyone know what's up. Some of you know that she's been not feeling well for a couple of weeks now. She had some pain in her leg, and initially her doctor diagnosed a sprained knee and cellulitis infection. The last couple of days she was feeling even worse, in quite a bit of pain every time she moved, so last night she decided it was best to go into the ER (especially since she couldn't see her doctor until Tuesday).
So she headed to Swedish Covenant early Sat morning, was in a room in the ER by 9 and by three she was admitted and put in a room. She has an infection, I believe they're still determining exactly what that is (I think...Carole's better at this medical stuff!), and she was dehydrated, which led to kidney problems.
Joanna and I went to visit her for a little while this evening, she was already looking and sounding a bit better just from the little bit of antibiotics and the fluids they'd given her. She's going to be there for at least a couple of days, it's uncertain right now. I don't know if I should give out the room #/extension on a public post but if anyone really wants to call her feel free to PM me, or you can DM me on Twitter (KnitChick1979 there as well). She has her cell phone but I think it ran out of juice, so if you try texting her and don't get an answer that may be why.
I will post updates here as I get them. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers please, hopefully she can get better quickly!
