(no subject)
I have moved to Orlando! I've been here around 3 weeks now, and I am renting a room in a 4 bedroom house owned by the Peruvian recording artist Francisco. The other two extra bedrooms are rented out by two other fellows that I have only seen once or twice. It's not that they're never around, but everyone just confines themselves to their own quarters. I haven't bought any furniture yet, because I'm not sure how long I'll be in this house. I don't want to settle in here, so I sit here on the floor with my keyboard and mouse on 12pk Dr. Pepper boxes and my monitor resting on a larger cardboard box. The room is pretty small-- I'd say 15X12 ft. One of the walls has the silhouettes of an elephant, a dog, a dragon, and a swallow painted on it. Though I say I don't want to settle in, I still enjoy it here. It's peaceful. I have yet to really meet any Orlandonians. I'm not in any rush to make friends. Although my first month of school is fairly easy, I'm sure I'll have very little free time for friends next month when classes start picking up. I'm planning to come back to the Ft. Walton area on the weekend of the 25th-27th. I guess that about wraps up my update. Happy travels to everyone!
