i made $290 at the yardsale. rolling in the dough right now. i tried to be a hard ass about the prices the second day and faired well. i met some interesting folks.
old man: how much do you want for thing painted jewelry box?
me: oh, just fifty cents.
old man: hmmm, will you take .25 cents?
me: (silent stair of bewilderment)
old man: well, ok. (sets box down)
misc. friends: (smirks and laughter at the unnecessarily awkward situation)
it is so deliriously damn hot and humid...finally went swimming yesterday at penwell even though i terrified of water the bottom of the river. it was the best thing in the world. jennipher exposed herself once again and peyton joined the club. rope swings and humid days in new jersey are always good for that. burlington july 22.
