Glad That's Over
Thursday I had paper due that was called an imitation assignment. That meant I had to write a poem in the style of Mark Doty (the poet we'd been studying) and then a three page reaction. I waited until the last minute to start this assignment and it turned out to be much more difficult than I thought. Friday I had an oral presentation on "My Favorite Poem and Why", and no it wasn't anything by Mark Doty. I also had a French test on Friday that was the hardest French test I've ever had to take, which meant actually studying. This is a concept still new to me and I don't like it.
The point of whining about all that was to whine about this: Between Monday and Friday I tallied a grand total of 13 hours of sleep. I'm sure Troy is proud.
After work last night I made up for this by getting home from work around 8, going to sleep by 9, and not waking up until 1:10 this afternoon. Ahhh.
I hope everyone's weekend goes as well as mine will. Thanks to some screwy scheduling on the part of BU, I don't have class again until Wednesday. I'd call that the light at the end of tunnel.
