But the arguement is in the way that we pperceived reality. If a hundred years ago, in a stroke a day, African Americas turned from slaves to equal human beings, very few people would be able to grasp that. The destruction of reality, the pivot difference between THIS reality and then a different reality within a matter of seconds is the [end of all life, blah, blah, blah] then the main arguement of the kritik.

Reality is, as he says, a sense of time and space comprehend by the indiviual and defined by the indiviual at his/her own time, or rather an hypereality because its what the indiviual thinks is reality. What she/her/it/they see as reality is everything that they, as human beings know and grasp, no matter how intangible and warped it is. But, this is defined by the indivual, not by the author. Reality, is reality and it changes too, [or so I would hope], and the main intention of this kritik is that the way we percieved reality is, not as you say it, an illusion but a warped sense of reality as, reality is more than we can understand. It's not that we can't understand reality, it's more that we can see at one time, and if reality was to come crashing upon, we would simly not be able to grasp it all.

For example, during the Vietnam War, [or any war for that matter] there was the huge acceptance needed for soldiers to understand combat and death. That was a new reality for them. It was a change from their vision of reality, does that mean that it didn't exist? No, of course not. It simply was completely understood by these men, and when the pain of death and torture hit them, all at once, this was their destruction of reality. Could they comprended it? Possibly, but could they accept it? No, not all at once. [Which then, leads into the nice little impact that the hypereality of the world is accepted as the 'reality', seen as the reality and if you pass the aff plan, their reality would be shatter. As in the case of the Peace Corp, these volunteers would be exposed the the horrors of disease and death that would be made real to them; and that they would not be able to completely accept that as part of their reality which leads into the belief that if you do awake people to reality so abruptly, there is no more value to life as we know it.

Then it is not a matter of accepting reality so much as it is a matter of accepting change.
