Alright, so it wasn't REALLY shopping. It was shopping under the pretense of working. Or maybe, it was working under the pretense of shopping? We did equal amounts of both. ^^ The PSAT is offered for JUNIORS and sophomores, [cough, cough] and, our school has a horrible reputation for a huge amount of National Merit Scholars in the state of Texas. [which, means that they got 25 out of the 27 national merit scholars in Texas...so it's a good repuation. Bad for us but good for our school.] So, of course, we're going to take it as sophomores for fun. :] Just like we did in 8th grade, whee! So, it was a study date at Barnes and Nobles with tons of coffee at Starbucks and Amy's Ice Cream where the girls were flabbergasted that I had never been on the cow statues. ><;; What a weird Texas tradition. To get back to the point, we studied, made 400-something-flash-cards, met a lot of [random] people there and took a couple of practice tests and started talking about Homecoming. Wait. Not in that order of course. It was; flash-cards, Homecoming, coffee, ice-cream, Homecoming, coffee again, Homecoming, Homecoming, Homecoming, tests, Homecoming, and then shopping. <333
But I'm supposed to go to Homecoming because I didn't go last year, and everyone tells me I should go. I still have that blue skirt for the 8th prom that was cancelled. ><; And the shoes that go with it, but no shirt. Err. I don't think that I'm going to Homecoming, but it's fun to talk about it. ^^ My current excuse is that there's a debate tournament that weekend, buuut there's also a football game, [that we might win!] and a sweet 16 that I'm going to that weekend. ^^;; Plus, tests, and junk, as well as PSAT study groups that meet every Saturday. <3
I'm almost happy. Oh dear.
