hmm. so i was ready to walk out of the dental industry today. Kay made some comment about the way i arrive on time, go on my break on time, get back from my break on time, and how i leave on time. pfft, there is no way in hell i'm giving that bitch something for nothing. everytime i do overtime i dont get paid, i get no respect there, i get no thanks for doing her job as well as mine when she's to busy chatting on the phone to one of her 'friends' (i personally think there is no one on the other end of that phone). so yeah. that job at Viva is looking good. except i just found out that the bosses are looking to employ 40 people overall. thats 20 floor staff members. lets do the math.
sunday to thursday = 7 floor staff members on shift for day and night
friday and saturday = 10 floor staff members on shift for day and night
so thats 17 shifts, using the same 8 people. imagine when theres 20 of us. it'll be shit hours. i reckon i'm looking at 20 a week tops... i can't live on that.
so i just decided (*just* decided) that i'm gonna stay at the dental place while looking for an office job. as in an OFFICE job. not a freaking SURGERY job. *sigh* we'll see how it goes.
