Thank you

Thanks for all the birthday wishes!

I celebrated it pretty sedately, since I am a grown-up now... *g* I don't know long long it'll take for me to remember my age off the top of my head, since I've been having issues with that ever since I turned 26. All those years ago. *l*

I forced Jennie to see Final Destination 3 with me on Friday. I'm sure it didn't help her dislike of roller-coasters. I on the other hand love them. The bigger and twistier, the better. I would've loved to have been on the one thy had in the movie. Well, not when it crashed and killed everyone, but you know what I mean. Haven't been to a decent one in years since the one in Helsinki is pretty tame.

And she forced me to the gym today. Well, she didn't have to force since I actually like working out. I just hate doing cardio. Bleh. Unfortunately she got us personal trainers for the next 10 weeks since she wants us to get fit in time for the Finland ceremony. *groan*

My goal is to lose 20 pounds. Of fat. I didn't even realize that I was carrying around 50 pounds of it. No wonder I have trouble fitting into my old clothes *g* So the trainer wants me to do cardio for at least 20 minutes and at least 3 times a week. Not counting the two sessions we have with our trainers every week. I think I shall be exhausted after the first few weeks.

I'll try to remember to do updates on my progress here, since that'll hopefully make me work harder. Right now we have to go to Costco since they put us on a diet and we need to stock up on the foods they suggested. It'll be interesting, cause I've never ever been on a diet in my life. I'll have to see how that goes as well. We really can't stick to the diet since we have to eat with Jennie's parents at least 4 times a week and I doubt we'll be having the stuff that's listed in our diets. The good thing is that most of the food is Chinese, which by default is good for you (if you manage to avoid the fried stuff). The problem is that we eat out a lot, usually at restaurants with huge (and I do mean HUGE) portions. I'm used to the European sized portions that always leave you a little hungry. Or at least not so full that you can't even have dessert. I was raised not tho leave food on my plate, so it'll be hard not to stuff myself at every meal. I'm not a big fan of eating leftovers.
