Kenzi wanted to see what Sam was up to, and check her guess about the slip-and-slide.

The sounds coming from inside her room almost dissuaded her.

"Knock knock," she called out. "Should I come back when the murder is over?"

"That depends," Sam called back. "Do you have any duct tape?"

"I can get some," Kenzi said, opening the door. "Oh. Ohhhhhhh. Hello there, robot spawn." Yeah, she'd had to take that class too.

"Do you want it?" Sam offered. "I'll let it go for cheap."

Yes, she was trying to sell DB. He was irritating, and so far had shown very little in the way of marketable skills.

Kenzi snorted. "Nope. I traded mine for a lollipop last time. So I was nine at the time, but still." She smirked. "Who's the baby-daddy?"

"Loki. He's a deadbeat."

DB wailed again. Sam roared at him, and he fell silent. Then whacked her on the foot with a fried drumstick.

"Hey! Where'd you get that, you little thief?!"

The lesson here, of course, was never to keep a fried chicken stash under the bed.

"Ha!" Kenzi grinned. "Darya was useful when I was picking pockets in Baltimore. Looks like your little monster has the same abilities. Where did he get that?"

DB turned and whacked at Kenzi this time. Sam bent down and snatched it from him, giving it a sniff.

"Box under the bed," she concluded. "Bad baby!" she admonished. "Don't use food to hit people!"

Really, there were far more effective weapons in the room he could have gotten his little droid baby paws on.

"Hey, watchit, tiny evil." Kenzi pointed at the doll and snorted. "I was considering babysitting to run the same scam as last time, but now..."

"Good luck with that." Kenzi had both hands waaaay away from the doll now. "You should dump him outside Loki's door with a note saying it's his turn sometime this week."

What? It was a time-honored way to deal with unwanted babies!

"I was thinking of maybe wrestling Loki to the floor and taping DB to him."

"Sure. It could be a fun sketch for iCarly."

"Cool!" Kenzi grinned, perching on one of the desks. She gave DB an unfavorable look, and asked, "Have a fun break?"

"It wasn't bad. Freddie made the hallway into a giant slip-and-slide."
