Its the usual chicken/egg thing; if only 3 people are interested then its not worth investing lots of time finding venues and doing all the preparation.
I'm open to preferences on 2nd/3rd Ed and I'd prefer a Camarilla game (at least to start with).
Time would probably be a Thursday evening (if people are free that night), probably on a fortnightly basis (weekly may be too much work depending on numbers).
Once I get a few opinions on the above I could start work on a backstory.
OK I've only had chance to ask Kim, who has said that a 'generic Camarilla' game won't get her attention. She was looking forward to Anarch because it was a bit different.
I like the idea of Anarch but I'd have to look into what they actually do beyond strut about in leather b1tching about being oppressed. Its not as bad as Sabbat; which tends to be very combat-heavy. I think I've got the 3rd Ed Guide to the Anarchs at home...
I was thinking about venues. St Mary's center might work. We can do it through the Gamers Soc (Tim is on their commity, but has been threatened with a ban for drunk and disorderly), if you don't mind pitching it to new players as much as older ones. Or we could get it independantly, for £25 a night between us.
Vamp works best with 12+ regulars as a minimum for a Cammie political thing (if we go that way) so lots of players can be a good thing. Thoughts on a mixed Anarch/Cammie "Alliance"?
Not sure how well I'd do pitching the game thoguh :P
It'll be OK. You just have to spend a second or two asking what they meant, and why they were doing things that would get them into a lot of trouble. Oh, and possibly finding a Sire for the really new people.
I've played a "proper" Cammie game and liked it; but the Darlo CamUK game was practically Anarch. I'd like to see a good Anarch/Sabbat game but I'm not as sure on how to run one.
Dot flows better but it is harder to get the game balance right. If it is just Stockton then there are a couple of us with cars if you need dropping off.

But... what sort of Masq game?
Oh, and it has been mentioned that you will get more interest if you have a more specific "this is the time, and the back story of our town"

This is a local game for local people, we'll have no trouble here...

Plus, if Bloodlines are only 1% of the vampire population... how come there are a billion books about them.

I think a good Cammarilla Masquerade game would be the best.
And I think you'd be good at running it, though if you needed help ...
