Well its back to California in the morning. Oddly enough I actually wish I could've stayed a little longer. I guess its because I haven't been home in almost two years and there was a lot of people to do and places to see. I'd like to come back again before the year is out but that's unlikely if I want to make it down to FL as well.
What I'm kinda annoyed with is the weather. If I wanted it cold, wet, and cloudy I could've stayed in Eureka dammit! And I've been told the weather's been rather nice back in Eureka, pah. Of course, I'm going to go back and we'll be back to the cool and cloudy that the area is so famous for. Not that I'm complaining mind you, just a change would've been nice. I must have gotten used to the weather up there however because I've been wearing my typical sandal and skirt garb, and if one more person asks me if I was cold or if my feet were cold. If anything I was hot the entire time I was hear. Maybe people in Eureka just keep their houses and buildings cooler but I found everyone back home had the warmest houses. My parents' house is at 73 F, I keep my house no higher than 65 F. Not to mention they also turn on the fireplace in the evening.
All in all I've enjoyed myself. Its nice to know that the more I change, the more home stays the same. And that's just the way I like it.
As an aside though, I really need to change my Las Vegas userpic.
