Know When to Hold 'em...

I'm so bad with my health. I know that I should be taking my extra iron, but last time I ran out I never got more. So of course now I know my iron levels are really low because I'm so tired I can barely get to work and am cold all the time. Oh well, no one to blame but myself.

Still happy in my new place. Its like I have the place to myself. Like I said to on of my co-workers, its rare that my roomate and I are both home and both awake. I mean, I heard him come home from work last night but I was on my way to sleep. And he was gone before I left, which is really odd because normally he's not up until after I leave. Was bored at work today, and so tired I couldn't do training without falling asleep. So ended up being silly and writing.

My thoughts on some of the TV premires/finales this week:

L&O:SVU: Okay, but the entire purpose of the episode was painfully obvious, get Olivia off the show for maternity leave. But not bad overall, I like the character of FBI agent Star.

Criminal Minds: Pah. What a dissapointment. Why must shows include the "choosing between life or death" scene whenver someone is critically injured? Totally did nothing for the episode. I like Reid, but can someon else save the day please?

CSI: The last 15 minutes is what made the episode. The minature of the crime scene? Very creepy and right up Grissom's alley. I'll hold my thoughts on the whole rape thing until I see how it plays out next week.

Stargate Atlantis: or, my new favorite fandom. I really have to find out what happend between last Jan and two weeks ago because I feel a bit lost on some character developments I think I missed. The episode had a little shippiness for everyone in the fandom I think. I love them going rouge from SGC, which seems to be a bit of a habit for everyone. My favorite part however was Elizabeth dressed in combat gear and carrying a gun. For some reason a lot of the fanfic I read seems to have her almost afraid of guns which seems really silly. Her character always struck me as a handgun kinda girl, but hey I'm happy.

Between SG-1 and Atlantis I'm having serious Sci-Fi character deja vu. Finally got around the looking up some of the actor/actresses who I thought I recognized and found out I was right about all of them.  Between the two shows, I recognized Robert Picardo (the Doctor from Voyager), Mitch Pileggi (Skinner from X-Files), Morena Baccarin (Inara from Firefly/Serenity), and Claudia Black and Ben Browder from Farscape (don't ask me what their names are on the show).  Let's also add that I've seen Colm Meaney (Chief O'Brien, Star Trek) on Atlantis in the past.

Too much TV?  Quite possibly. But man its nice having cable again, and a TV that I don't have to wait for the planets to align to get certain channels.

fan-atic, health
