You Can Go Home Again
Arrived safely in DC this evening despite the fact its been raining like crazy since I've gotten here. We had a weather delay in Orlando due to the weather here. Thank goodness for direct flights or else it would've taken longer since its raining like this up and down the east coast. The flora in front of our front door now is ridiculous, its like walking through a jungle to get to the door. My mom's new car died, and she's driving this huge SUV thing rental that they gave her, which is so funny since you can tell she's not comfortable with it. Neither am I, so there went my plans to borrow her car on Monday. She says though that I might be able to persuade my dad to let me use his car, and he can take his truck.
Other than that, the house is still pretty much the same. They redid the carpet upstairs and my old bedroom is totally different. Which is okay, since it hasn't felt like my bedroom in years.
