Okay, more than 10 but, eh.
I could also throw in Twisted - Stevie Nicks & Lindsey Buckingham from the Twister Soundtrack. (Yes, the movie had a soundtrack) Believe it or not, all the songs from the soundtrack are in the movie. If you're so inclined, I can tell you where.
Just a bit of history behind the songs:
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For - U2
I will Survive - Cake verion
Sexual Healing - Marvin Gaye
Baby Got Back - Sir Mixx a Lot
Time of Your Life - Greenday
I am Ready for Love - india.arie
My Way - Frank Sinatra
are all autobiographical
Here's to the Losers - Frank Sinatra
I heard this in a ST:DS9 episode and adopted it. The same goes for most of the Sinatra songs rattling around my computer. Shhh, I really did learn about life from Star Trek.
My Funny Valentine - Frank Sinatra
One of Shakespere's sonnets (115 I think?) , is something along these lines. I heard this song while I was studying the poem.
The others I just like, or I heard them when I was writing a story and they fit the characters.
All right, going to go take my finals now....
