ahh.....
It's been a while hasn't it. Things have been moving along towards the end of Villains. The trade is coming out in December and i just shot off the cover to the colorist last night so he can make it all pretty. Issue #4 should be out next week or so, I'm doing a signing tonight for it so I have some advance copies waiting for me. I am eager to see this one in print as it is the one I am the most proud of. I also am attending the Phoenix Comic Con this weekend and I am very excited for it, I hope it does well and that I can at least cover expenses. I'll have copies of all 4 issues of Villains, copies of The Hurricane Kids #0, some original artwork and of course I will be sketching all weekend. I will also be sketching in support of HERO, which is a non-profit organization that donates time and money to helping older comic creators. It's a swell cause. I hope to meet and mingle with more pros this weekend, so it should be fun.
The Hurricane Kids deal is still waiting on a contract, although it's closer than ever for 2007. I have another project I'm contemplating for 2007, I have a writing project that I'm waiting to hear back from a few publishers on, and I just got word that another project I put together has been given the greenlight for 2008. I just have to wait on contract details for that. So all in all, things are looking pretty good. I'll post more when I realize what it was I wanted to bitch about.
