WAKE UP CALL
I would have to say that if my life was a tv show this weeks episode would be titled wake up call. I've heard that phrase throughout the week in all sorts of situations. Hearing it being used so much has got me thinking.... why?
Why do people need wake up calls? the big dramatic events that finally get people to realize they're doing it wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I've had my fair share of them but I just wish they weren't a necessity in a lot of situations. Almost losing your life, having your dirty little secret discovered or even having friends point out major flaws that you never saw. These things give you in some cases a second chance. A chance for you to realize that the trail your going down is a dead end and you need to stop before you reach it.But at least you get that call before it is too late. Sometimes I wish life was much simpler....But then it'll be boring as f@*&!
