Okay, first let's get some appropriate music:
Pride - High and Mighty Color
Okay, the model I built is the ZGMF-X32S Savior Gundam. It's the first Gundam that Athrun Zala pilots in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, his third Gundam overall, his third mobile suit in Gundam SEED Destiny, and his fifth mobile suit overall. He pilots it for the middle portion of the series, from his rejoining ZAFT to its being totaled in a duel with Kira Yamato in the Battle of Crete.

Two beam sabers. If you look closely at the pics, you'll notice they're stored in the shoulders. Most Gundams store their beam sabers in a backpack or on their hips, so that's a bit unusual.
The Savior's most powerful weapons are the "Amfortas" plasma beam cannons, and while it's in mobile suit mode, they can swing up under the arms to rip off in homage of the Gundam F91's Variable Speed Beam Rifles.

And this view is of the bottom. I don't actually remember the beam rifle hooking on there, but apparently it does.
And finally, I decided to compare it to Athrun's previous Gundam, the Justice, for the sheer hell of it. They have about the same head height, but the Justice's backpack gives it the illusion of looking taller. Anyway, here's a side-by-side comparison...

All in all, I had a lot of fun building this model, and I'm having more fun messing with it than the previous three (yes, including Burning Gundam). A transformation ability will do that.
