(no subject)
One of my co-workers thinks my name is Kim. Thursday, she called me Kim twice (correcting herself afterward both times) and then the third time, corrected herself halfway through and called me Karen instead. I thought, "Well, at least she's getting the right number of syllables. That's an improvement."
Yesterday she walked over to my desk and said "Hey, Kim, could you do me a favor?" I pondererd correcting her but was like, screw it, I guess I'm Kim now, so I simply said "Sure, what's up?"
Later, I heard her call someone else Kim, so I'm starting to think that's just her go-to name for anyone she doesn't know.
