Closing ceremonies.
Hmmm.
Sort of loved it. But felt kind of awkward liking it. Perfect example - The mountie burlesque dancers. Loved it, but am I allowed to love it, or are they desecrating the pure image of the mountie that we should be trying to perpetuate in Canada?
Though some parts just stunk: Catherine O'Hara's monologue (love her, but the monologue wasn't funny whatsoever); The musical choices - Nickelback, Alanis, Hedley (really?!?!). Couldn't we have gone with someone a little more current (and a little more good?)
Again...
hmmmm.
And that's it.
