So I'm taken on trying to socialize a feral lovebird, Pachanga.
He is a young bird who didn't know any better and trapped in himself in one of the campus house finch traps.
The boys have had him for a number of months, and while you can hold him and pet him with out loosing chunks of flesh. He doesn't like to sit on your hand or really be social.
So I took him on to try and socialize him.
So far - Midori has tried to eat him a good number of times.
He chewed through my laptop power adapter (thank you for Apple care!!!)
I'm hoping he'll come around. He'll sit with me while i'm working..
but UGH. The chewing has to go... and he needs to work on doing more than just sitting on my computer or my leg.
Ah i know i just need to wait him out. Tho if he costs me another adapter I will have to kill him. Tho thanks to him, and the suppper nice gay boy at the apple store i got a extension adaptor for free :P
