so...it appears hair being as long as mine used to be equated to being a gang-member back in my grandparents' time. why the hell should they care if i have long hair? they know me...or they should. besides, it shouldn't affect them any more. they'll have to put up with it if they don't like it. maybe they'll try to get it cut if i go up there ( Read more... )

LIEK OMG U LISTNS 2 LINKIN PARK THAT IS SO GHEY N SHIT KTHXBAI

Seriously, though, it's just hair. I understand the need to rant about things that piss you off, but... I dunno. I forgot where I was going with this. I guess I'm just saying lighten up a bit. Or insert other pseudohelpful advice here, if you like. Or just ignore me. Or something.

Christ, I'm tired.

haha, i understand...im way overly protective of my hair too. my dad hated it when i had long hair and kept threatening to cut it for me. but eventually i came to the decision to cut it all off on my own.

my grandmother would probably have a fit if she knew my hair was short now though. she loved that i had long hair because she had rapunzel-ish hair and loved that i was in some way emulating her.

you could try using henna to dye your hair. lots of indian people use it because it makes really dark hair a kind of deep red/brown color. ask surili or jasmin though, bc i dont know much about it.

Yeah, I met you at athfest.

My hair is pretty long, and my family is all right with it. Although I think my Tae Kwon Do instructor would rather me shave it all off.
