Good updates:
- last weekend and the upcoming next two weekends involved sticking around at home. no travel. yay!
- had fun at a local hockey game on Saturday night. Local team won.
- due to the increased miles I had put in to my phone's run-tracking app, I got a $15 discount from UnderArmor as a sense of congratulations. I used it to buy some new running leggings and gloves, which arrived a week earlier than the UnderArmor website originally promised. And even better - new clothing fits!
- also got some new shoes, but from a local running store
- we haven't been pummeled with snow like Boston has been
- website stuff is still going smoothly, and now trying to transition into "prepping for Heps" mode. found a meet helper for the Heps weekend, and this person seems rather reliable. Also, I'm getting offered some money from another website for them to use whatever meet previews and interviews we manage to get at the meet. Wow.
- Friends of Harvard Track asked me generate an award certificate for an alumni mile race they are planning to have at Heps. I generated one in powerpoint and they were happy with the result.
No-so-good updates:
- the concert I was looking forward to got canceled the Thursday before the performance because the lead singer broke his ankle and needed surgery. boo.
- it's cold
- achy body from that month-long running streak, and now that I've cut back a little in order to deal with the achiness, I'm having a hard time sleeping. it could also be a little from overthinking about the website.
- got two reports at work that i need to complete this month.
so yep. i'm still alive
