You say you will but never do
You make me hurt, hanging onto you.
Its when you smile, your hearts on your sleeve
You melt my bones, like you wouldnt believe.
You and me, are on a carousel.
And neither of us would care to tell
That what we share, is nothing strong
There's nothing there when things go wrong.
Charming yes, but I deteriorate
My smiles decrease at a superior rate.
Once, you were my saving beacon.
Now you watch, my pride as it weakens.
No, I do not wish we never met.
And yes, I'll be the one that won't forget
This is my fear of being alone
It makes me sit here by the phone.
And I don't get up, in fear that you
Will pull the stunt you always do.
But I'm secretly praying that you will.
