Local makerspace / hackerspace "Makers Local 256" has an Open Tuesday night. There's usually someone there every night, but they make a special effort to ensure there's someone there on Tuesdays to show new people around :)

It starts at 6:00, so 7:00 is a great time to come by on Tuesdays.
