Yuletide letter
Dear Yuletide Writer.
Thank you for signing up with something we matched on. What ever it is I hope you have fun writing it and that my rambling below helps.
Red Cliff:
Anything, seriously anything about any of the characters. I fell in love with this complicated and very believable story, nothing is a given, everyone has his or her own reasons for what they do and how long they all hang together for one purpose. Even the fact that once the current war is done the allies may well turn on each other.
Dune:
Another fandom I love for the fact it is complicated and no one is even close o perfect. I would love a fic with Paul, his father and Duncan pre the first book where something Paul has done has filled Duncan and Leto with astonishment and pride. This could be anything, the first time Paul beats Duncan in a fight, the first time Paul gets round the Dukes council on something.
The deed of Paksenarrion:
The story gives us Paks view of herself, and sometime the views of others but what do any of the tagset characters think, how does this change over time, does it change? How different from what we're given are there views?
The Invisible Library:
I would love to see Irene in her first days in service to the Library. How different is it to work for the Library rather than just to live in it? What are the things she takes for granted that her fellow trainees stumble over? Dear writer I would love for you to show me.
